Please join Niagara County Community College (NCCC) and the Niagara Orleans Counselors Association (NOCA) as they host the twenty-fourth annual college fair on Thursday, September 20th from 6-7:30PM on the NCCC campus.
The fair will have over 75 two and four year colleges and universities in attendance, and will be held in Building G, second floor cafeteria. "This is a great opportunity for students and parents to explore options for higher learning, ask questions, and obtain information from a wide variety of institutions," said Niagara Wheatfield Counselor Mary Graber. "We encourage students in all grades to consider coming, from freshmen to seniors, to see what's out there and what requirements colleges have for admissions and scholarship opportunities."
The college fair is also a fundraiser for NOCA, which is a partnership of Niagara and Orleans County school counselors who meet regularly to network and share information. "NCCC has always been very supportive of the efforts of local high school counselors, and very generously donates the registration fees of the colleges at the fair to our scholarship fund," said NOCA Co-President Mrs. DiVincenzo. "Every spring we award scholarships to local outstanding seniors, and we couldn't do this without the support of NCCC. We hope to see a great turnout at this year's college fair."
The campus is located at 3111 Saunders Settlement Road in Sanborn. For more information about the fair, contact the NCCC Admissions Office at 716-614-6200, or your high school's counseling office.
