Orleans Career and Technical Education Center to Hold Open House

The Orleans/Niagara BOCES' Orleans Career and Technical Education Center will be holding their annual Open House/Information Night on September 28th from 5:00-7:00pm. This is a great opportunity for students and their parents to check out the facility and programs and see if career and technical education is a good fit for them.

Teachers and current students will be on hand to talk about the programs the center offers: Allied Health, Auto Body, Automotive Technology, Building Trades, Certified Personal Trainer, Computer Technology, Cosmetology, Culinary Arts, Early Childhood Education, Electricity/Electronics, Graphic Communications, Health Occupations Technician, Heavy Equipment/Diesel/Agriculture Mechanics, Precision Machine Technology, Security and Law Enforcement, Welding and VIP Programs in Auto Service, Food Service and Landscaping and Grounds.


Welding teacher Eric Farrell with students Corey Hydock (Lyndonville), Jason Huntington (Royalton Hartland) and Zack Aiken (Royalton Hartland).

 

There will also be representatives from local community colleges and the military and information about the career and technical education leadership organizations SkillsUSA and National Technical Honor Society. Orleans Career and Technical Education t-shirts will be offered for sale as well.
