From Wise Middle School Giovanella Pelligra nominated one of his sixth grade students, Aubrey Schoolcraft. When Mrs. Pelligra indicated her reasons for nominating Aubrey, she shared that "Aubrey deserves the honor of student of the month because it is her mission to always be ready to learn, take initiative to solve problems and be willing to help others. Her friendly disposition also serves as a positive in the classroom, helping others to model this attitude as well. She is well liked by her classmates. She always does her best work, displays excellent effort, and always smiles while displaying a positive attitude."

From the High School, Karina Bellan, an eleventh grader, was nominated by Rachael Rutledge. Mrs. Rutledge reports that "Karina consistently puts forth good effort regardless of the complexity of the task and has a positive attitude. She serves as an excellent role model for her peers and is willing to work with everyone. Karina volunteers to work with students who need extra help and comes up with creative ways to teach them. She treats everyone with respect and makes a positive contribution in all situations!"
