Christmas Scene Investigation...

December 11, 2015

There was a mystery at Oak Orchard Elementary. Santa was missing! For three days the students enjoyed a huge Santa outside the cafeteria, until last Wednesday morning when the students arrived and he was gone! On Wednesday, December 9, 2015 over 450 students and parents packed Oak Orchard Elementary school to gather evidence to see who did the crime! The families were given get clue sheets and able to examine all the evidence. They examined, fingerprints, footprints, tire tracks, surveillance photos and interviews from the suspects. SANTA himself read a story to the children that included a clue to solving the mystery! Officer Draper and his K-9 dog KYE and School resource officer Barnum were here to talk to the children and help investigate! The students and parents also be made "snowman soup", had hot chocolate, wrote notes to Santa, and enjoyed a book swap and homework help. The Medina PTSA always offers dinner from 5:30-7:30 for 3$ per person, which includes pizza, an apple and a drink!
